Sadie Boot Cuffs

Hi friends!

This post will contain affiliate links which benefit me when clicked. Thank you for supporting more free content from Haute Kippy!

Is spring here yet? Nope. It's still boot weather. Good. Here's one more late season boot cuff pattern for you. Recently I've been exploring with some textured stitches. I even made up my own. I'm sure it's not original, it's most likely been done before, there are literally thousands of crocheters who have been crocheting for hundreds of years. Truly, it's all been done in one form or another. But that doesn't mean we can't have fun, and celebrate it when something that looks really pretty comes out of our brains! This is what I made with my "made up" textured stitch.

Sneak Peek: This adorable coin purse is also coming soon to the blog! I just have so many wonderful fun ideas for you guys! I am truly blessed with divine inspiration. There's simply no other explanation as to how I am able to come up with this stuff. God is so Good!

If you love boot cuffs...

then this one will be a treat for you. I also have two other super cute boot cuff designs, the Pom Pom Boot Cuff and the Sweet Scallops Boot Cuff. The scallops are still my total fav. but the plush and chic Sadie gives them a run for their money.

The stitch o' the day here is the zigzag puff stitch. If you've never tried it then you're in for some fun. I love the way it makes the textile look almost woven! The stitch is pretty easy, I've provided a brief description for you, but if you're just not getting it, be sure to google some youTube videos to watch. There are tons of great tutorials out there. It's honestly, how I learned to crochet. I'm completely self taught!

If you just love boot cuffs and can't get enough free patterns, check out my friends over at allfreecrochet.com, they host thousands of only free crochet patterns. You can search for anything and find tons of inspiration and fun projects! Check it out!

For these boot cuffs, I've made my samples using two types of yarns. Both are 4 medium worsted weight, but I've shown you two to illustrate how both yarns can work here. Pictured is shiny and smooth Red Heart Soft in Wheat; and fluffy, soft, I Love This Yarn in Graymist.
